Non-Evaporable Getter is made by compressing alloy powder of zirconium aluminum or Zirconium vanadium iron into metal containers or coating on the metal strips. It can not only be used together with evaporable getter to enhance gas absorption effect, but also plays its specific role in the devices which can't use evaporable getters. It covers three categories: ring getter, strip getter and disc getter.
The strip getter adopts advanced lining technology, of which absorption performance is much better than that of direct rolling products. This kind is widely used in lighting source, stainless steel vacuum insulated vessel, traveling wave tube, camera tube, X-ray tube, vacuum interrupter, plasma melting equipment, solar heat pipe, industrial Dewar, welling record equipment, proton accelerator and so on.
